Playing in the Nelson Town Band is a lot of fun, and you can be part of it! Perhaps you played the trombone in high school and have had your instrument in the closet for 20 years. Or perhaps you’ve kept up your chops but your looking for new playing opportunities. Many of our members are middle or high school students, who enjoy the satisfaction of a regular concert schedule, and the fun of parades.
Whatever your story, we hope you’ll join us. There are no auditions - everyone is welcome, and you’ll quickly find yourself among new friends (or maybe folks you already know).
The band rehearses most Sunday afternoons from 4:30 - 6:00, in the basement of the Nelson Congregational Church. Check out our schedule page to see where you’ll be playing.
